 Rescuers hope the dolphin will make its own way back to the ocean by Monday. HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (Catholic Online) - Peter Wallerstein, of Marine Animal Rescue, said that the 6-foot-long, black and white common dolphin appears slightly disoriented, however looks healthy. On Friday the dolphin was spotted in a channel of the Bolsa Chica, circling in shallow waters as the crowd grew larger and TV helicopters flew overhead. Experts managed to coax the animal toward the open sea, however it was spooked by a pair of fellow dolphins and swam back to the wetlands.
